2 cups sugar
2 eggs
1 stick margarine
1 teaspoon baking soda
Dash of salt
Grate the zest of 2 oranges
4 1/2 cups flour
1 cup shortening
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon baking powder
Juice of 2 oranges (1/2 cup)

Icing:

2 tablespoons butter
Jauice and zest of 1 orange
2 cups powdered sugar

Combine all ingredients and mix well. Drop on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F. for 10-12 minutes. Mix together icing ingredients. Wait for cookies to cool and ice.
