Makes about 6 pounds fudge
1 1/2 cups margarine
6 cups sugar
2 cans (5 oz. each) evaporated milk
2 packages (12 oz. each) semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 jar (13 oz.) marshmallow creme
2 cups chopped nuts
2 teaspoon vanilla
Lightly grease 2 (13x9-inch) pans. Combine margarine, sugar and milk in heavy 5 quart saucepan; bring to full rolling boil on medium heat, stirring constantly. Continue boiling 5 minutes on medium heat or until candy thermometer reaches 234 degrees, stirring constantly to prevent scorching. Remove from heat. Gradually stir in chips until melted. Add remaining ingredients; mix well. Pour into prepared pans. Cool at room temperature; cut into squares.
